Leadership Lecture with Sir Vincent Fean
Sir Vincent Fean served as a diplomat for 39 years, culminating in 3 (2010-14) as British Consul-General, Jerusalem, representing our Government in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. He was previously Ambassador to Libya and High Commissioner to Malta.
Retired from the Diplomatic Service since 2014, he is a trustee of the British charity Medical Aid for Palestinians, patron of the Britain Palestine Friendship and Twinning Network, and Chairman of the Libyan British Business Council.
Sir Vincent advocates British Government recognition now of the state of Palestine alongside Israel, to strengthen moderate Palestinian and Israeli voices, uphold the rights of both peoples, and affirm that the Occupation begun in 1967 must end, peacefully, through negotiations between two states – Israel and Palestine – under UN auspices.
