Classics Trip to Rome

Pupils had a brilliant time in Italy at the end of last term. They spent a couple of days in Rome, visiting the Colosseum, the Forum and Palatine Hill, the Vatican, and the Sistine Chapel, before heading down to the Bay of Naples to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius, the Naples Archaeological Museum, and the city of Naples itself. Whilst staying in Sorrento they were also able to watch the traditional Holy Week religious processions which was a really special experience.

Thank you to Ms Georgiakakis, acting Head of Classics, for arranging the trip and to Ms Drury, Head of Drama and Teacher of English, Mr Hannam, Teacher of History & Politics, Mr Rumun, Teacher of History, and Mr Cardozo, Teacher of Mathematics & Drama for accompanying.
